Paper complimentary tickets work both days.

Please be aware that the internet is crawling with fake ticket scams.

People commenting on social media that they have tickets for sale are lying. Third party resellers besides Eventeny are void. We cannot help you if you purchase one of those tickets and will ask you to buy a ticket at the door if it’s not legitimate. Tickets are non-refundable & non-transferable.

You can either bring the print-out with the QR Code or open it on your phone to scan at the Gate.

The Red Lodge Renaissance Faire wants to recognize patrons who are active duty or retired military, first responders, and senior citizens. To get this discount, you will be asked to show valid identification, along with your pre-purchased ticket bought online, or to purchase your ticket at a discount at the gate.

Active or Retired Military: With proper valid ID we will honor your discount. Thank you for your service.

Senior Discount: We default to the state of Montana’s definition of “senior” being age 65+. A photo ID with birthdate is sufficient.

During the Faire, you are welcome to leave and return throughout the same day. You will receive a handstamp or wristband for re-entry.

Parking is free.

All Attendee Parking is on Rodeo/City grounds and is accessed via Hwy 78.
Handicap parking is available close to the Faire entrance. Please provide proof of eligibility to attendant

Peak traffic times are expected between 9am – 11am. Please follow all prompts from Sheriff’s Deputies and Parking Attendants.

Please lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in vehicle. Park at your own risk. The Red Lodge Renaissance Faire is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to parked vehicles.

The Red Lodge Renaissance Faire will be held “rain or shine.” In the case of severe weather, RLRF Management will advise the guests and participants of a pending closure. You may check local weather forecasts or contact the Faire for any updates. Please note that the RLRF does not offer refund, rain checks, or ticket exchanges in the event of poor weather or closures.

No. Unfortunately, due to exhibits, Royal Court, Petting Zoo, and Vendors, outside pets are not allowed to attend the Faire.

We are located in Montana and the weather conditions can vary greatly, from hot and dry, to cool and wet. We recommend you check the weather reports before you come out to the Faire.

>Can I wear a Costume?… Of course! We’d love to see you in something relevant to our time period. Patrons are welcome to attend in their favorite costumes. We encourage a wide range of characters, from historically accurate to fantasy-inspired.

Shoes must be worn. Closed-toed footwear is recommended. A head covering is also recommended, (there is little shade on our site).

>Does my Costume have to fit the theme?… Definitely not. It’s a suggestion for folks who want to do that. But you dress as you’d like.

We are an outside, family friendly event. Cover all the bits, think more than a bikini. No foul language, hate speech, or exclusionary language or images. We have zero tolerance for clothing with foul language or exclusionary language or images. You will not be admitted &/or the Faire reserves the right to withhold entry or to escort any individual whose apparel is deemed unsuitable or that may detract from the enjoyment of others in attendance.

>Can I rent a costume?… No. We do not have costume rentals. We do, however, encourage you to wear your favorite Renaissance/Fantasy styled clothing or visit one of the vendors to buy your attire.

>Can I wear a costume weapon?… Period appropriate weapons are allowed as long as they are peace-tied (cannot be removed from a sheath or belt) and sharp edges are covered. Cut the piece-tie or wave your weapon around and you’re going to be asked to leave. Seriously…do not be the person that makes us enact a weapons ban.

All of the entertainment is FREE. Some vendor activities (for example, gem mining or face painting, fairy hair, etc.) will have a fee based on the vendor’s choosing.

Head to our website. Entertainers and vendors can fill out applications there. Volunteer crew and staff are accepted year-round. Volunteers earn comp tickets that can be used any day of Faire. As well as our undying gratitude.

Lady Visa and Lord Master Card are accepted at the Front Gate and at most vendors. ATM’s will be available for your convenience. Checks will NOT be accepted at the Gate.

No matter what your age, please be prepared to show proper identification to consume alcohol. Valid ID includes a state-issued driver’s license or state-issued ID card with photo, a passport, or a United States military identification card with photo. We are unable to accept any foreign driver’s license. Note, the identification cannot be expired at the time of the festival.

No. We do not rent wheelchairs or carts. We encourage patrons that need this kind of assistance to plan to bring their own equipment.

Small wagons for small children or to accommodate disabilities is okay. Folding chairs are okay only to accommodate the elderly or disabled and must be moved when you move. In other words, you can’t plant your chair someplace and then wander off. No coolers or pop-ups.

Yes, check in at the Front Gate Ticket Office or the Hospitality Tent. If we don’t have what you lost, leave your name and number and if it shows up, we’ll call you.

If you or your child becomes separated, please go to the Hospitality Booth where our staff will be available to help reunite families. The booth will be clearly marked with visible signage for easy identification. For lost children, parents or guardians should immediately notify the nearest staff member, volunteer, or security personnel. Faire staff will follow established procedures to safely locate and reunite children with their guardians. We encourage parents to discuss a meeting location with their children upon arrival in case they become separated.

We will provide a full-time First Aide Booth with medically trained along with the Ticket Office, West Concessions, and Hospitality Tent on-site who will have first aid kits.

There is no tobacco use or vaping allowed on the premises.

There is no on-site Attendee camping available.

Limited Vendor camping is available.
